- Designed and developed a 16-module blended training package for 60,000 internal and external personnel on the newly renovated distributor/dealer/administrator HVACpartners portal.
- Developed multiple branded eLearning and instructor-led training courses using Articulate Storyline and Captivate. Courses included Infinity®/Evolution®, IAQ, Controls/Thermostats, Geothermal, Ductless, and HVAC Financing training.
- Researched and created an Articulate 360 vs. Captivate 2017 functionality presentation for the software selection committee.
- Created a five day technical, product, and sales skills training curriculum for the Territory Manager University.
- Carrier and Bryant: Developed 30+ eLearning and instructor-led training courses using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and PowerPoint. Courses including Infinity®/Evolution®, IAQ, and Controls/Thermostat product sales training.
     
Instructional Designer, Multiple Companies
- United Healthcare - Created interactive, Captivate software simulations and evaluations for several software systems for a corporate-wide eLearning initiative. Created SCORM-complaint Articulate Quizmaker software assessments and updated existing support materials.
- Aflac - Created interactive Articulate Storyline storyboards with subject matter experts. Produced output for multi-level interactive sales training, with avatars, audio, animation, modules, and evaluations.
- Dresser-Rand - Designed modular, interactive Articulate Storyline training with audio, knowledge checks for their corporate codes of conduct.
- CHEP - Created scenarios and facilitator guides for a full-day onsite learning initiative with 16 interactive training stations..
     
eLearning Coordinator/Senior Instructional Designer, USAA
- Developed 30 eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline and Captivate to replicate system actions and reinforce organization's best practices. Courses used multiple highly interactive training modalities including system simulations, drag and drop with audio recordings, and hotspot activities.
- Created 10 SCORM compliant assessments in both Captivate and Articulate Storyline that focused on key competencies and course objectives.
     
Change Management Consultant, VMware
- Analyzed corporate and end-user adoption readiness and developed the change management plan for a Salesforce.com rollout.
- Managed 3-person change management team; liaison between client and training team.
- Provided virtual Salesforce.com training to end users in 17 time zones; trained ends users in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
- Developed train-the-trainer program for 25 trainers for onsite and virtual training of 2,000+ users in 20 countries.
     
Senior Instructional Designer/Trainer, Bank of America/       Merrill Lynch (multiple contracts)
- Designed, developed, and delivered classroom, eLearning, and individual instruction on Cisco VoIP Telephony, Salesforce.com, financial and loan applications, Office 2007, and other in-house developed applications to line personnel, 1st-3rd level customer/technical support, supervisors/managers, and upper management.
- Provided technical training and hands-on assistance to employees on the new telephone system for a company-wide Cisco telephony project at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Financial Services covering 650+ sites, approximately 30,000 employees.
     
Pharmaceutical Instructional Designer, Janssen Ortho McNeil
- Wrote and edited WBT content for three Janssen Ortho McNeil courses including a product-marketing tool, product training for sales personnel, and a company-wide product information brief.
- Worked as a member of the initial team to work with the Janssen Ortho McNeil sales force on their first $2.5M WBT initiative. After reviewing team deliverables at 3 months, the contract was expanded to include additional courseware at $1.25M.
- Provided leadership, guidance, and support to an 8-person instructional design team; represented instructional design team to project management and Vitesse executive committee as lead instructional designer.
     
Senior Performance Analyst, Chevron
- Performed Senior Performance Analyst role in the development of an online Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS) for the 60,000 employees of the Chevron International Exploration and Production division.
- Worked with Subject Matter Experts and corporate managers to define roles, procedures, and EPSS resources to be developed for the Behavior-Based Safety and Contractor HES Management processes. Created course outline and materials for four online course modules.
- Supervised team of instructional designers and technical writers to meet production goals and ensure accuracy/consistency across training material.
     
Instructional Designer, Williams-Sonoma
- Built training materials with the Williams-Sonoma Inc. University team, management, and subject matter experts for the company-wide merchandise tracking software. This new $100+ million dollar application is used across all concepts and channels to order, track, and ship goods.
- Created course materials, exercises/evaluations, and instructor's guides for four courses. These courses included training on using the organization's merchandise tracking legacy systems, the new application mentioned above, and training to bridge the knowledge gap between the users moving from the legacy system to the new application.
- Conducted Train-the-Trainer sessions for the instructors of the four courses which were delivered to 1,600 employees nationwide.
     
Instructional Content Analyst, Cisco Systems
- Part of the team that was the first step in the process to document learning content and material for use within Cisco's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Mined Cisco Internet and Intranet web sites for new educational content to meet learning objectives for Worldwide Sales Force Development.
- Evaluated eLearning courses, reviewed training materials for instructor-led courses, and reviewed web-based resources such as portals, white papers, and video presentations for effectiveness toward position specific competencies.
- Assessed Internet- and Cisco Intranet-based educational content for relevancy to specific systems engineering learning objectives.
Instructional Designer / Corporate Trainer, The Clorox Company, 2000-2003
- Coordinated and participated in the hands-on development of instructor-led and computer-based training covering an overview of the SAP/Siebel implementation project and basic navigation of SAP and Siebel - 1,875 students.
- Developed and delivered content for 12 eLearning courses worldwide - an estimated savings of $350,000 in travel, room, and board costs.
- Created 2,000 SAP/Siebel Overview and Navigation CDs to train Clorox personnel and key vendors/suppliers on the company's new ERP system.
- Delivered both technical and non-technical training to personnel at the World Headquarters and the Clorox Technical Center - 10 different courses, over 800 students.
